Yes, there is a reason I have not posted anything on the blog for the past week.....even though I was dying to last Friday. Why?, becuase I am not at liberty to talk about it yet. I can say I am very very very sad that our adoption agency in Portland is closing their doors to international adoption. But before I start vomiting on my shoes...I am going to take a deep breath....talk to my dead grandmother....ask for her to help us...and I am confident that what could be a horrific probelm will bless itself into a very very very good thing. I think I will go and find a place to lay down my tired head. I go in PEACE.

If you are looking for a new agency call Bay Area Adoption Services in San Francisco or Adoption Horizons in Eureka. They have the best China facilitator in the world. We used Adoption Horizons with both of our adoptions and were thrilled with them. If you are open to Special Needs the China facilitator is really active in placing the children.
Well, I liked your last line :O) It did make me chuckle though I'm sorry you're having to face some rough stuff... though I'm thinking things are surprisingly going, maybe WELL in spite of this not so good news... hope so anyway!
